For another season, APHA & SJAMHA would like to thank officials for their hard work with #thankthestripes. Each year there has been some variety:

1. In 2018, there were raffled Jets tickets.

2. In 2019, snacks in the dressing rooms.

3. In 2020, cloth masks were distributed.

4. In 2021, APSJ gave away, copies of How to Referee Hockey, $10 coupons for How to Referee Hockey, and Tim Hortons Gift Cards.

5. In 2022, the #thankthestripes theme was "goals". Prizes included copies of How to Referee Hockey, skate mats, riot pads, shin tights, and Tim Hortons Gift Cards.

6. In 2023 #thankthestripes theme was "officiating is...." Prizes include: copies of How to Referee Hockey, riot pads, shin tights, toques, "supervisor bags", APSJ pens and Tim Hortons Gift Cards.

7. In 2024, the #thankthestripes theme was "artificial intelligence in officiating". Prizes include: copies of How to Referee Hockey, APSJ pens, APSJ sunglasses and Tim Hortons Gift Cards.

In 2025, the #thankthestripes theme is "fitness". Prizes include: copies of How to Referee Hockey, copies of the Quiz Book, APSJ pens, APSJ sunglasses, APSJ Tuques, and gift cards​.
